SYNOPSIS: Such a fresh new world, marchlands cradled by two rivers, bordered by the gulf, this fertile crescent. . . no cities to conquer, abundant resources for exploitation, and no one to be offended by their table manners. Ninhursag and her half-brother Enki blend the gene pools of their serpent line with the hairy creatures they find upon landing on the planet, to create two new beings. After taking his progeny to E-din, Enki erects a protective force field and teaches them how to live in the garden. But their servant Nahash has plans of his own.
